Meet Our Team
In an editorial and public relations career spanning more than 30 years, John Savage has worked as a journalist, presenter and communications specialist.
He started his media career as a general news and feature writer for national, state and regional media including The Australian, The Daily Telegraph, The Sydney Morning Herald, Cumberland Newspaper Group and Australian Associated Press.
He also worked as an on air presenter in the news departments of Channels 9 and 10 and as a reporter and producer for radio stations 2UE, 2UW, 2WS as well as the ABC and affiliated networks.
John Savage is a member of the Australian Society of Travel Writers (ASTW) and a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA). Each Association is bound by a strict Code of Ethics. He is also a senior journalist with eGlobal Travel Media, an online publication with more than 50,000 registered daily readers. He also writes extensively on travel and hospitality for international media.
John has been a recipient of many public relations, marketing and tourism awards and enjoys an unparalleled working reputation in the tourism sector.
In 2011 John Savage teamed up with long-time colleague and practitioner Grahame Cox who brings to the agency a wealth of knowledge on business and corporate editorial writing as well as digital communication and social media.
Grahame has a successful track record in business communications…as a writer, public relations practitioner and business advisor working across travel & hospitality as well as the IT and corporate sectors. He has also forged a reputation for his counsel on digital, social and traditional media.
Grahame’s senior counsel and editorial writing experience in the travel and hospitality sectors includes content development for the websites of five hotels across two countries, drafting advertorials and news content for a major Thai hotel, regular social media content for Cambodia hotels, crafting editorial and news releases, feature articles, case studies/testimonials and developing brand strategies for retail and wholesale travel operators.
To achieve results, Grahame works to clear objectives, set budgets and agreed strategy. Clients gain tangible outcomes on assignments small, large or unique focused on creating sales leads, growing market share, building brand value or changing attitudes.
His management highlights include serving as the Australian Director of Bite Communications; director and co-principal of Upstream Australia; director and co-principal of MACRO Communications Australia, Singapore and Indonesia. He is a graduate of the University of Canberra and the University of Technology Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) and writes for travel itinerary and planning website Bindu Trips.
